Loved this idea. My garden is really great with lots of the ingredients. Except nasturtiums. I think I will plant next season. Yummy pasta sauce. Fresh tasting as I used a little more lemon juice. Put a scapes and basil leaf on top for garnish...

Delicious! Omitted pine nuts due to allergy.the pesto was perfect....garlicky!!! Will definitely make this again with our scapes.....once the scapes are gone, hopefully garlic will be ready for harvest and drying.

Hi Cathy, do you mean from the basil or the nasturtiums? For the nasturtiums, I use just the flowers. For the basil I use just the leaves, you could use the stems aswell, but they would add a woody texture to the pesto.
