Hello. I'd like to overwrite an image of a stop sign used in Peru, a country in South America. I have recreated this SVG image using Adobe Illustrator from the Manual de Dispositivos de Control del Tránsito Automotor para Calles y Carreteras, developed by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru. I have created a version with Peru filled in green (Visa-free access) as Peruvian citizens no longer need a visa to enter El Salvador. When Awesomecat713 added transparency to this image, they did so in a somewhat ill-fitting way. There are transparent gray and white pixels around the edges of the "A" on the right, causing the edges of that character to look very ugly if you view the image on a non-white background (like gray or red). What should have been done is all of the grayscale values in the original should have been mapped to alpha values, while all of the color values should have remained at pure black, which would allow the image to blend correctly on any color of background. This file was wrongly encoded in RGBA mode, despite the fact that it is a completely opaque screenshot. Correcting this and encoding it properly shrinks the file size to 47.29% of the original.
